EXTERNAL TANKS
Air Spray's RADS II tank is a 3,000-gallon capacity external tank featuring a computer-controlled, constant/variable flow door system.
The RADS II tank incorporates two full-length doors that open from the center and operate in unison. The doors operate with full or partial tank fluid levels, precisely controlling the flow regardless of the level of retardant remaining in the tank. The system can deliver any volume, coverage level and line length exactly as requested. Alternatively, the crew can manually initiate and terminate a drop at exact points, including emergency drop procedures. The tank is also equipped with real-time volume monitoring. This feature, combined with the RADS II door system, yields superior wildfire control effectiveness. |
INTERNAL TANKS
The Air Spray IRADS tank is internal to the aircraft and features all the components of the industry-respected RADS II tank. The IRADS tank is scalable to any size or type of aircraft, allowing it to be installed in aircraft ranging from the BAE146 to the C-130.
Just as Air Spray's RADS II tank system set the industry standard, the IRADS outperforms all other tanks currently in operation and will be the tank design that produces the most effective results by next-generation airtankers. |
