CL215
FEATURES
Air Spray operates three CL215 aircraft on behalf of the Government of Manitoba. The CL215 is a twin piston engine, amphibious aircraft purpose built for the control of wild fires.
The CL215 was designed to perform well in the aerial firefighter role. The aircraft houses a pair of 1,400 litres (300 imp gal) water tanks which open to rapidly discharge water over a target area. The tanks can be emptied simultaneously, individually, or in sequence at the pilot's selection. The CL215 is an excellent aircraft for the scooper role. |
