OUR FLEET


Air Spray owns and operates a variety of aircraft for the fire suppression role. Our aircraft need to fight fires in many types of conditions and terrain. From extreme mountain valleys in British Columbia, Canada to windy, dry hills in California, USA, our aircraft are ideal for operating in challenging wildfire situations. Our customers recognize that each aircraft plays a key role in the fight to protect our environment from wildfires.

BAE 146 AIRTANKER

The BAE 146 is a four engine jet powered, large capacity air tanker for the control of wild fires. Originally built as a passenger airliner, the BAE 146 is extremely fast and capable of carrying over 3000 gallons of fire retardant in its internal tank system.

LOCKHEED L188 ELECTRA AIRTANKER

The L188 Electra is the optimal heavy turbine powered  air tanker for the control of wild fires. The L188 is fast, maneuverable and capable of carrying large loads of fire retardant. With four engines, the L188 is cost effective, powerful and extremely safe.

The Air Tractor 802AF is a single engine purpose-built air tanker that is both operationally effective and economical. Ideal for fighting fires in tight valleys or at the urban interface, the AT 802F is an extremely useful tool in the firefighting toolbox.
